Each lodge whether in Kenya or Tanzania, can play host to a variety of themes and activities both in and around the lodge and within the National Parks.

Working closely with you, and based on your requirements, we will design an event that incorporates as much of the aesthetic environment as you wish.

Below are just a few of the activities and themes in which we have expertise. This is by no means exhaustive, but gives a ”taste” of what could be incorporated into the programme.

Bush Breakfast A complete breakfast buffet with ‘Live station’ where pancakes & eggs cooked to order. Bush breakfast sites are situated in suitable locations in the park to enable easier game view for the guests. We always consider guests’ dietary requirements.
Bush Lunch A full lunch buffet with an African themed BBQ station (Charcoal grilled). Dietary restriction always taken into consideration. On request-traditional dancers can be arranged to add up to the bush experience
Bush Dinner A full dinner buffet with an African themed BBQ station (Charcoal grilled). Dietary restriction always taken into consideration. On request-traditional dancers can be arranged to add up to the bush experience
Barbeque Dinner A lavish choice of grilled meats and accompaniments with special dietary requirements taken into consideration. A selection of wines and spirits as well as other beverages can be offered.
African Night with Khangas
An African themed buffet dinner with waiters in traditional attire. Khangas for the lady guests and the gentlemen get Kikois. Both are assisted with wrapping them on.
Bush Sundowner Full open bar setup with baskets of assorted dry snacks. Traditional dance can be arranged when requested in advance.Where possible a Bonfire is lit for additional ambience.
Cocktail Party Full bar set up with varieties of dry snack - nuts, popcorn and potato crisps. Traditional dancers can be arranged if requested in advance. Where possible a Bonfire is lit for additional ambience.
Balloon Safari The opportunity to view the game from the basket of a hot air balloon is available in a few of the parks. An early morning safari is completed with a bush breakfast upon landing.
Photographic Game Hunting A twist on the traditional game drive. Guests, split in to groups, have to photograph certain animals in order to gain points, with the winning team receiving prizes.

An Astro-physicist and trained Sopa cultural astronomers blending science with cultural insights.

Can I combine this with a safari?

Absolutely! During the day, you can enjoy exciting game drives where you will have the chance to spot the Samburu Special Five (Grevy’s zebra, Reticulated giraffe, Gerenuk, Somali ostrich and Beisa oryx), rare species found exclusively in the Samburu region. In addition to wildlife viewing, the area is home to an incredible variety of birdlife, making it a paradise for bird watching and bird photography enthusiasts. You can also explore the landscape on guided nature walks, offering an even deeper connection with the environment. All of this blends seamlessly with magical celestial nights, where stargazing under Samburu’s vast, unpolluted skies becomes the perfect way to end your day.
